Title or Location: Lighting of the Cressets
If you are a local or even a visitor in the late fall, you know this street scene in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. One of my favorite times of the year is to be there in person when they light these burning baskets of wood to illuminate the night on Duke of Gloucester Street. I can?t image what it was like in the not-too-distant past, before street lights and electricity were the norm! Just being there during the late fall season takes me to a simpler time in history. 12" x 9", This is pain

Title or Location: The girl who drowned in her own tears.
There once was a girl who lost herself in her own tearsThis girl became a victim to others who confined her with their own fears These projections caved her self esteem until she filled her glass with her own tears With seconds passing but every cruel word seem to make time turn to years The only thing to ease her pain was to cry until her tears reach her ears. Numb by the sensation of the water dulling her senses, all her heartache finally disappears. I've composed this attachm

I am an avid visual artist, graphic designer by day & love to experiment in numerous mediums. I really enjoy the cyanotype printmaking experience. The Prussian blue & ethereal appearance of the final results fascinates me. I have been working on a hand-crafted series of cyanotype prints mounted to pine panels. The focus ranges from flora & fauna, to beach inspired and abstract compositions. I use found items to create my compositions. I will pick plants from my yard in the Lowry Park North area

"Mystic "is an intuitive work in acrylic on canvas and measures 61cm sqr. It begins life as a few marks on a blank canvas and from then on each mark suggests the next one. This is how all my paintings evolve. I am obsessed with colour and composition which seems to come naturally to me. I know when a work is finished because it seems to let me know " there is nothing more to do here, it is time to move on" I listen to my work now, instead of my inner critic and it is wonderful to know I have cre

Title or Location: Chrystal's Puppies!
I work with a doctor that has dachshunds and she commisioned me to paint her pups! Done in acylics 15 in x 30 in on canvas. It was fun painting this and I put a lake tahoe background as the pups were actually in a pen and the owner has a cabin in Tahoe and wanted a sun setting sky.
